pgm ALL WINNERS #21 - 1946 - 47

This book is just in remarkable shape. It looks almost unread. Pages are very supple and centerfold is well attached. I took photos to give you guys an idea of the defects. My cheap azz scanner does not do this book justice.

 

 

 

Three small impact marks F.C. in the red lettering.

 

 

Small paper pull tear on the lower edge spine corner. About 1/8". The piece is intact but was folded over.

 

 

Spine is just in great shape.

 

 

 

No tanning or browning on the inside cover edges.

 

 

 

Centerfold secure.

 

 

Back cover has a small stain. Looks like mayber a coffe drop or something.

The coffee stain on the BC is a bummer.

 

I'll go with a nice GA 8.0.

I agree the stain is a bit of a bummer and 8.0 seems like a fair grade, I'll even venture a shot at 8.5. Either way it is a gorgeous specimen.

I thought that CGC was harsh on stains though?

...... They seem to be. It should still get a 7.5 from them. For me, the gloss and PQ outweigh the stain. GOD BLESS....

Lock for a 7. 7.5 with a nice press. Great pick-up.
