In the comics Thor should own Superman as he is mystical, and this is like kryptonite to Supes. They did have a fight in the JLA Avengers series and Superman took him out.

 

Isn't that why Captain Marvel would have a strong chance of besting Superman is because of his mystical powers from Shazam?

it is pretty much spot on to what I always thought he would sound like when he speaks. Basically as irritating as possible.

In that mini-series, Thor's hubris took him out. But yeah, he would have beaten Supes.
