This was the last issue of the first detective comic series. It's part color, part black and white. In addition to the Bob Kane connection, there's another DC tie -- this series' publisher, the Comics Magazine Company, was started by two gents who left the company now known as DC. I checked with a fellow Boardie who has a copy of this rare book, and he confirms that the inside cover is indeed blank.

 

I can't recall another regular-sized comic that features a blank inside cover.

I am really intrigued by the Clock, and did not know he had such early appearances.

But you know, right now…
