Did I get a good deal on this ASM 5?

Just a wee bit over half book if the 3.0 grade is true.

It's only the second low number ASM I've bought and am still not firm what % of book is good deal/avg/steep yet like I am with early FFs. 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

I was 893whatthe.gif when I won with my $125 bid at 53% of book. 27_laughing.gif

I checked GP and G+'s were going for $140-150 and GVGs for $170 or so.

As long as there is no resto and the book is complete I think I made it right about average or a tiny bit better if it's a true 3.0.. 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

from what one can ascertain from the small scan, it looks pretty decent!!!

is the cover attached at the bottom staple or is that just some form of spine roll that exposes about a quarter inch of interior pages on the bottom?? 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

That bottom staple worries me too.

I hope the fan affect isn't cause by a detached staple. tonofbricks.gif

I have a couple of VG to F early Silver books that fan a bit with OK staples.

It's a QP thing, with the book not being aligned perfectly straight when stapled.

"Ask seller a question" was sent asking him about a few of his auctions but he never replied. confused-smiley-013.gif
