EastCoastExchange-migratio
I actually had forgotten I had placed a bid on this book. I ended up winning it for well under GPA, so I'm happy Angelo Nice (thumbs u (thumbs u Edited August 26, 2007 by CarolinaComix

zzutak
Agreed! This is a very well-preserved set. I'd enjoy hearing a bit about the history of the books, if that's something you can share.
cheetah
A few more. The second coming of the Hulk. He turned into Xemnu and still shows up in Marvel comics. I saw the reprint of this sell for $200 recently. Someone else just posted this one.
TheWatcher
Those are absolutely stunning books, but that JIM 66 is the nicest I've ever seen
AtlasFan
PRE-HERO ALTAS THROW-DOWN!!!! I will start things off with a smattering of TTA... Great homage to King Kong! Again, who dosent love a giant robot cover? THORR - the aliens that settled on Easter Island... Vandoom - he's big, he's bad, he's ...wax? Rommbu - my favorite orange monster.. X - he runs with the rats...
cheetah
I got your King Kong right here (or at least Charlton's weak imitation). Not a marvel but, hey, can't be perfect.
AtlasFan
Hey, NO CHARLTONS!!!!!!!!!! How dare you profane this thread with one of those.. I have tried to get THECHARLTONGUY to start a scif-fi Charlton thread, but if he dosent do it soon, we may have to take matters into our own hands. Nice Konga! rodan57
Great book. I used own #16 when I was a kid (1970). It was the oldest book that I and all the other Marvel collectors in the neighbourhood had ever seen. It's also not any easy book to find in such good condition. I have been searching for a replacement for 4 or 5 years now and it remains rather elusive. (13 have been slabbed with 4 being 8.0 or above -- actually a relatively average number for a book from this period -- collectors just hold onto it.)
