High Grade Green River Consignment Begins Monday Afternoon at PedigreeComics.com

MAJOR NEWS!! We just completed negotiations on a fabulous consignment of Silver Age Marvels and DC's from the awesome Green River Collection! The collection consists of approximately 125 CGC certified and 100 raw books from a myriad of titles, including Action Comics; Amazing Spider-Man; Aquaman; Avengers; Daredevil; 80 Page giant; Fantastic Four; Sgt. Fury; Superboy; Tales of suspense; Tales to Astonish; Thor; World's Finest Comics; X-Men and more. The consignor has been collecting books from this original owner collection since 2003 and has put together the very best and largest group of Green River copies in the world.

 

The listing starts on Monday afternoon, July 22nd, at approximately 3:00 p.m. with the initial 10 (ten) comics and will continue for the next few weeks. This is simply put a stunning collection of mostly white-paged, "virgin" books (many of them are still in the old CGC labels), with UNREAL eye appeal and cover gloss. Green River books have rarely been made available to the public and this consignment contains books that haven't been available for sale for up to 10 years, having been in a private collection for a long time. The collection was recognized as a pedigree by the CGC back in 2001 and consists of approximately 2,400 total comic books (which are among the easiest to identify of all the major pedigrees). The vast majority of these books carry a small red arrival date stamped on the front cover. Even the books that do not carry the Green River name on the CGC label are 100% identifiable as being from the collection.
