What is the best overall auction help service to use

15 posts in this topic

I am trying to make the process of selling a bunch of my surplus comics easy and hopefully profitable, so my wife can do most of the work.

I would think that we should be able to easily upload scans to the site.

mange the auctions including sending out bills and collecting money

make the listings look attractive.

minimize fees ( i know that this is a joke setup)

I should have stuff to keep her busy for quite a while. there is probably 20-25 long boxes of Marvel from '63-'90.

Also I was very used to Print shop pro 5 when i was doing my scanning, but that program died on me. That seemed to work well with my old scanner. I am now using an HP2210, but seem to have problems getting the scans to work right.

Here is one of the better books remaining in the Available for sale group.

Please list them here for sale first.

If you get some takers you can save on a lot of eBay fees. thumbsup2.gif

I personally would be interested in low to mid grade early Marvels from 1962-64.

Maybe a few later ones as well.

If you are hosting your own images, IE have them stashed on the

web some where, then I would reccommend Auction Submit.

Ease of use is a 7 to 8. Reliabillity is a 7 to 8.

If you want Ebay to host your auctions and pay a little more for

more features then go ahead and download Turbo Lister from the

ebay sellers hub.

I would personally reccommend the starting simple to make sure

you and your wife are tech savvy enough [no insult intended, me I'm

a tech ...], before you pay for someone like Vendio to make

things smoother, but eats up profits.

Just my thoughts.

At the momemt I don't have the books uploaded to a url I am just attaching it from my hard drive.

I was never a fan of thor so I actually have several JIM's under 100 the lowest is attached here.

Perhaps it is easiest if I were to take want lists. It certainly would be easier to avoid all of the selling trouble and fees on ebay
