J Scott Campbell Appreciation Thread

Still trying to find the appeal of chicks in comics, A character of a chick with big boobs and arse drawn does nothing for me, rather talk to real girls.

 

Do you only read Fumetti comics then? If you only want to interact with actual real-world things, why read comics at all? The appeal of a well drawn female in a comic is the same as the appeal of a well drawn male, or car, or gun, or anything else that you might like to look at.

 

For what it's worth, while JSC's babes are hot, I like him (and other artists pigeonholed as "good girl" artists like Dave Stevens and Adam Hughes) because he is a well rounded artist. He can draw anything, and I like looking at it.

 

Will post some of my books later. In the meantime, nice thread guys!

He did a lot of the early JMS' ASM issues. A lot of them were not scantly clad poses of women too. All are good.

 

And that is from my personal collection. I love the Scott Hanna sketch. It really makes the book. Probably not worth a lot with the triple sig- but it is worth a lot to me.
