A minor steal?

Guides for $40 in 9.2. Decent price? Slight bargain? Would have expected around $150 being that there is only 1 9.8. Plenty of 9.6s though. *shrug* Spent all my cash on yesterdays heritage auctions else I would have managed more than my $76 bid. Dern sellers not taking Paypal.

I bid $76 too for two reasons--it was 1/8" offset to the back cover, and the supply on these mid-Bronze Spideys doesn't appear to be all that short. Alsot, another CGC 9.6 copy sold for under $80 not too long ago.

I did win the same sellers ASM 167. I dig it when a book has a nice skinny line of white down the spine. Probably not as big a bargain, but I'm pretty happy gathering up 150-200 for $50 a piece.

Yea! It's an effective technique I use to prevent myself from blowing so much money on comics all the time...if I hold out for near-perfect QP, then I spend less!
