I will never understand why they cast the 70's show guy as Eddie Brock in Spidey 3. It lost all credibility for the character for me.

Wasn't he the "big bad" in the most recent Predator movie as well (Predators)? Ugh. Again, bad casting, but not nearly as bad as casting him as Venom.

In Predators he was at least convincing. He wasn't suppose to be a bad $$. He was suppose to be that sneaky character.

 

I get how they tried to make him a rival for Peter, a rival for Gwen's affections and all...I just wish they had stuck with more of Brock's origin story. Get rid of the Sandman, and Goblin II and just Venom.
