I like this year's releases better than last overall but I think the last couple of years are great. There are always periods that stand out and this is going to be one of them.

I will say they are pumping out a lot of #1's this year. Time will tell.

I think print runs have gotten dramatically bigger....If east of west had come out last year it would have had a print run of 30,000.......

Yeah, I think thats true. I know of at least 5 people reading this year that weren't last year. Word of mouth has been good for the overall market.

I'll always look back on 2012 more fondly than 2013. It's great to see the industry thriving and producing great content but, for me, nothing will beat 2012 in terms of excitement. 2012 was a lot of fun.

Several of my good friends came back to comics this year.

The quality of the independant books is just really outstanding right now.

I know most of my pull list is 2013 comics. Only in 2011 did the change like that happen.
