Space City Con - August 2-4, 2013 - Houston, TX

Houston is my home town. I wasn't born here, but I got here as fast as I could (moved here when I was 3 in 1959). Houston had a pretty vibrant con scene in the late 60s / early 70s, but they kind of dwindled.

 

Lately though, Comicpalooza and now Space City Con are really showing that Houston can and will support all manners of Comic, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, TV, Movie works.

Pretty cool Alex. I've never met Art Thibert but I have enjoyed his stuff since Black and White.

It was a fun con. Not the best I've been to by a long shot (Heroes '13 and Boston '12 were the best), but it was fun. Having it less than 2 mi from my house was nice, too.
