My vote is for Lone Star. It is good food, and right across the street from the convention centre.

Let's see what you all have to say.

Perhaps on Thursday, I can make a reservation. We'll need to know approximately how many would like to come. May I have a show of hands, please?

Lone Star has the narrow lead so far. I will make a semi-reservation today but I have no idea on how many will actually show up. Friday night at 8:00, who will go? May I have a show of hands, please?

You are all welcome to linger around my booth and can officially meet up there at 7:00, and we can walk over to the restaurant around 7:20-7:30. I'll probably make the reservation for 7:45, and you are welcome to meet us at Lone Star (on Front Street, across from the Metro Convention Centre).

Looking forward to meeting some more boardies. (thumbs u

We have 3 votes for going to another restaurant. It would be nice if those people could voice some other suggestions. (thumbs u

Sorry.

Brass Rail.

An fine Toronto business that's been around since the 1940's. Nearly burnt down a few years ago.

Here's a shot of a Toronto fireman spraying his hose at the Brass Rail.

Glad you could make it. It was truly a blockbuster event. Considering the volume of people and the wait time, choosing a venue a little further away probably wouldn't be a bad choice.
