X-Men #15 (2nd Sentinels) - Fine - 5.0/5.5 - asking $75 $68 $61 + shipping SOLD :news:

 

Copy has top edge wear, a bit of non-color breaking bending/wrinkling that would press out, overall a very solid copy.

 

Latest OSPG has a 4.0 at $60 and Fine 6.0 at $90.

X-Men #16 - Fine - 5.5 - asking $45 $40 $36 + shipping SOLD :news:

 

Edge tanning, light spine wear, partial subscription-like bend on upper half of cover that only slightly breaks color in spots, very solid book.

 

Latest OSPG has this book at $54 in Fine and $36 in VG 4.0.

X-Men #18 - F/VF 7.0 - asking $75 + shipping SOLD via PM :news:

 

Book looks every bit an 8.0 from the front, main reasons it isn't are two 1”NCB bends on back cover at top spine that would press out if you'd like (you can see them on the back cover scan). Otherwise book has only light wear.

 

Latest OSPG has this issue at $54 in Fine 6.0 and $124 in VF 8.0

X-Men #19 - Fine 6.0 - asking $49 $44 $40 + shipping SOLD :news:

 

Another book that looks VF but has more non-color breaking bending including partial subscription bend that barely breaks color. Could press a bit better.

Nice looking book, but it has three total small spots of CT along spine (two the size of pin heads), and it has been trimmed on all three open edges (none of the art panels are affected). There is also a small hole at the lower staple hole of the upper staple. Cover and centerfold solidly attached everywhere. But solid eye appeal if you don't mind all the work done.

 

Latest OSPG on this book is $49 in Good 2.0. I'm starting this one at slightly below that price.

X-Men #22 - Fine/Fine + - asking $35 + shipping SOLD :news:

 

Pretty book with deep reds, spine wear and light bends/creases at lower corners of the front cover are the main defects. There is also a bit of a ding at the top of the spine that shows up only on the back cover. A press may help the book a touch.

Solid book that encountered a bit of moisture at some point; there is some slight rippling to cover, a touch of rust/migration to centerfold at upper staple only but external staple isn't bad at all, PQ is quite nice.

X-Men #24 - prettiest VG+ 4.5 ever - asking $25 + shipping SOLD :news:

 

Looks like a solid VF but roughly 2” diameter light moisture spot on back cover that does not affect pages. Didn't stain the cover but did affect gloss and is visible when you flash the gloss in the light (you won't even see it in the scan). Just a beautiful book in a mylar.

:cry: Yeah, it's a Catch-22. Have to work to pay for books, but working causes you to miss books. Maybe you'll see some others you like?

 

I have a run from 1-325 I think is the last #, but I try not to pass up one of my favorite issues.

Another copy that looks nicer but has small moisture spots visible on inside covers, otherwise the book has only very slight wear and minor light creasing, with a couple of tiny chips off top of back cover.

 

Don't know why I never see this book well-centered, they all seem to be 2 cent Arvels.
