This book has spine stress lines that look like they SHOULD break color...so I'm a little leery, given what I've heard about PGX missing restoration. Am I being paranoid?

There is good reason to be paranoid, but then again sometimes you get more of a non-colorbreaking bend off of a relatively small stress mark. Without the book in hand (or better yet, out of a PGX slab) it would be difficult to tell which you were looking at.

I would avoid any PGX books from this seller or any from any seller that were slabbed in the last couple of years. Books slabbed in earlier years are a significantly lesser risk, imho.

Probably good advice. Even if the book's legit, I'm not sure I'd want to do business with that seller. (It's a very soft 9.4 in any case.)
