From what I've seen, if Land is going to swipe, it's really blatant, so I don't think it's fair to take pot shots in this case.

 

Maybe I'm just a bad human, but I think it's always fair to take pot shots at someone who has so obviously traced Maxim magazine and porn actresses and put it into comics.

I can't speak for anyone else, I don't know where his idea for that cover came from or when he drew it, could have been many months ago.

 

When I saw that cover today, I just thought it was interesting that it's been 17 years since the novel, A Game of Thrones was published and introduced the Iron Throne and 3 years since the TV Show became such a hit. In all that time I haven't seen an "Iron" Throne type cover on the Iron Man book.

 

Now there is one, with a similar pose, 3 months after Scott drew that piece. Was it bound to happen? (shrug) Did he draw inspiration from that West piece? (shrug) Would it be kind of cool if he did? :acclaim: Is Chris quit possibly Henry VIII reincarnated? All those head wall pieces would point to (thumbs u
