book has a chip out of the top corner that extends to the back, there is a small piece on the back hanging on within the slab. My scanner Is krap, but I will show you what I can. PQ Cream to off white CGC 3.5. There is a pencil mark '47' on the back.

Well done with the sale Bill. I have the same problem with my scanner. The modern ones scan the surface of the case rather than take an image so what's in the case is out of focus. :sumo:

 

I bought a used HP Scanjet for $30 on ebay 2 years ago...probably the best investment I ever made.
