Well Dan has told me on several occasions he has no plans to bring Peter back so there is no definitive plan. However if I had to guess I'd say Carlie figures out that Doc Ock is Spidey. She will try to figure out how to save him. Eventually she will find Loki's rune that he gave to Peter back in 504. She will use it to summon Loki and she will use his "favor" to bring Pete back but also Doc Ock. Just my guess.
