Fantagraphics to publish Don Rosa collection of Duck stories

File this in the "I'll believe it when I see it." category. I seem to remember putting a similarly hopeful collection in my Amazon wishlist a couple of years ago. But, Fantagraphics has confirmed and Amazon is taking preorders on a hardcover collection of Don Rosa Duck stories, a la the Barks and Gottfredson collections.

I truly hope that, since he trademarked his name, that Don is getting some royalties out of the deal. He deserves it as one of the 2 greatest Duck artists ever.

Yes. I am looking forward to this.

Barks or Rosa ?

Now that`s a debate for the ages.

They are both fantastic artists and writers, but even Rosa would acknowledge Barks as the penultimate Duck artist.

Last but one in a series of things; second last: "the penultimate chapter of the book".

You don't have to shut up, greggy. It's nice to see you actually post, instead of your co-worker when you are asleep.

He moved to a different floor so I'm safe for now.

That guy is the greatest! I love him and want to bear his children.

Pretty jazzed about this. Preordered it a few weeks back and have my fingers crossed it becomes reality. The amount of detail Rosa puts into his art makes my heart palpitate to the rhythm of the Ducktales theme song.
