REMOVED (No Sale): Amazing Fantasy 15 For Sale

20 posts in this topic

Hi Guys,

I have a Coverless copy of AF 15, along with a cover from a different copy of AF 15...pages, in the book, are still stapled together firmly.

I will sell it for $4,350 Shipped (includes Paypal fees)...open to offers, if you want to PM me.

Please look at the pictures, as I feel that this book would be a solid 1.5 (possibly Qualified). In August, on Heritage, a 0.5 Qualified went for $3,100 (this to say that Qualified AF 15s seem to hold their value pretty well, if you decided to get it Slabbed).

I would prefer Paypal, but will take a Money Order or Personal Check (item will not be sent until after MO or Check received).

PLEASE READ: I cannot ship until next Friday (10/11/13)...book is at my parent's house, in Spartanburg, SC (I am in Charleston, SC). I will be going home next Friday, and will gladly ship, then (if I haven't sold, by then, I will take some better pictures of the Cover and post them).

Please use the :takeit: feature or send a PM

I have a post in the PGM Thread, about this book:

No comments were made. I saw your asking price when it was coverless and my jaw dropped but you're entitled to ask whatever you please.

I believe some comments were removed but I could be mistaken

Just wondering but how does a comic with out a cover become a VG I'm newer to the hobby so I'm trying to be educated on it. Usually a comic I thought that's beat up and without a cover is around a 1.0

What about these interior pages signifies "beat up" to you, Chief?

Chief? Didn't know I was a head of an Indian Tribe. I didn't say they were beat up but a book with out a cover like that how would you grade it a VG? The cover you were saying that is from another af 15 is pretty beat. Btw did you see the other af 15 sale that was on here a few days ago where the book had a reproduced cover? Not sure if that went for your asking price but I'd think you may wanna price it around that possibly? I'm newer to the hobby. not trying to be a jerk just trying to see how you would get that grade, price from your af 15.

Probably Qualified, as no Restoration would have been done. You are taking one Original, non-Restored cover and marrying it to an Original, non-Restored comic book. Nothing altered, no pieces added, no Color Touch...

Have fun with the thread, guys...I'm done. I hope that you have a little better luck selling on the board. I will take it with a grain of salt...there have been some really great people on here, and I'm glad that our paths have crossed.

Signing off :headbang:,

Ron

Mmanick,

The only one that called them "Indians" was the worst navigator in the history of the world (which is why he only got a holiday named after him, not 2 continents)...I believe they are called Native Americans, now.
