Decided to pull a few things out of the collection and offer on the Bay. A cool variety of items including:

 

- A 1987 Arthur Adams Colossus sketch

- A rare Tick page from the original Ben Edlund series by Max Banks with Tick, Arthur & Paul the Samurai (part of the sequence when the Tick and Arthur team up for the first time)

- A gorgeous Rogue (X-Men) on Gargoyle pin-up by Mike Vosburg (one of the earliest artists to draw the character)

- A 1981 Gil Kane Conan page with Conan, a cute woman, and Wizard!

- A large TMNT Turtle sketch by co-creator Peter Laird

- A super rare original Norman Rockwell reference photo published in the Famous Artists Course and Rockwell on Rockwell book

- An unopened 1st printing of the Dave Steven's Rocketeer Artist's edition

- A limited edition French Watchmen portfolio with signed print by Dave Gibbons, Alan Moore and John Higgins

- A 1987 Arthur Adams Colossus sketch (9" x 12" - re-authenticated at this year's WonderCon to confirm it isn't one of the fakes that were floating around years ago) - SOLD

 

 

- A rare Tick page from the original Ben Edlund series by Max Banks with Tick, Arthur & Paul the Samurai (part of the sequence when the Tick and Arthur team up for the first time). Has an extra head sketch on the back. Other pages from the first 12 issues run from $1500-3000 these days. - ON HOLD!

 

 

 

 

- A gorgeous Rogue (X-Men) on Gargoyle pin-up by Mike Vosburg (one of the earliest artists to draw the character). Full size 11" x 17. I think I paid Mike $150 for this - Offered here for only $100!

 

 

- A 1981 Gil Kane Conan page with Conan, a cute woman, and Wizard! Part of a classic trilogy when Kane returned to the series. With the Buscema pages getting out of hand these days, this nice Kane page is affordable. - $300

 

 

- A large TMNT Turtle sketch by co-creator Peter Laird on 11" x 14" bristol board from 2008. Much harder to get a sketch from Peter than Kevin these days as he rarely makes appearances. SOLD.

 

 

- A super rare original Norman Rockwell reference photo published in the Famous Artists Course and Rockwell on Rockwell book. Rockwell used this picture to show how he could adapt a photo into different characters. The photo may also have been used as reference for one of his other paintings. Most of these reference photos are locked up in the Rockwell Museum archives - very rare to find one up for public sale. Only $200.
