We just wanted to remind everyone about the upcoming 4th annual So Cal Comic Con in Oceanside:

 

Sunday, October 20th, 10 am to 5 pm

QLN Conference Center

1938 Avenida del Oro

Oceanside, CA 92056

Kids 13 and under, and active/retired military get in FREE!

Admission is $7, or $6 with a flyer from most Southern Cal comic book stores

The 1st 100 people will be getting a free gift bag full of comics. We are holding raffles throughout the day, with the Grand Prize being an Iron Man #1 from 1968 SIGNED by Stan "the Man" Lee and Gene Colan! There will be original art covers, signed comics, hardcovers and prints, and dozens of other prizes.

Would you be able to assist in gaining a Crain Commission through your Con?

We have already gotten a number of requests for a Crain commission, so our priority will be to help out anyone who has already requested a commission. We are still awaiting his commission rates and we want to give attendees the best option for securing a sketch that day. We are working on maybe setting up these commissions to happen earlier in the weekend, but as of now, no news. When something happens, we will notify all interested parties. :)

We've added a few new vendors as well. We've updated the Event Announcement thread with more sketch rates, examples, and possible blank covers you can get for FREE when you order a sketch from our artists in advance.

FYI for all of you coming out - Clayton will decide on commissions on a first come, first serve basis in the morning. He'll decide what he can do at the show and what will have to be mailed after the show.
