Well now that CGC has released the census I guess I can ask on here...

I picked up a near complete SI run from 1-20 ...

 

This is my fav ...

To slab or not to slab ...

Only 2 graded a 9.0 and a 7.5 ...

Silly question but how does the mailing label effect a grade ?

If you are aiming to grade higher than the registered 9.0, this copy won't do it. You have significant CB Spine ticks, CB Scratches, color rub or some other stain on the BC,as well as the stain near 9.95 on the BC. I think your copy would grade much below 7.5

Ignoring the label, it looks like a 7.0-7.5. No idea how mailing label affects grade...never ran into that with comics...

Hmmmm. Stain on the BC. I will say it may be in Fine range.

 

Mycomicshop will lower the grade if there is a reside label. I don't know what grade CGC will give for this copy.
