Ya I go to Big Wow every year and that show has been starting to really come into its own, especially with all the art and artists that show up.

Just thought the Bay area can definitely support 2 shows

Nope its not going to happen this year.

Wizard World in Sacramento is Northern CA's best bet next year.

Wizard World tends to be more entertainment centric with a lot of B-List Celebrities as well as entertainment. They have an Artist's Alley, but it's usually riddled with the usual suspects of comic book creators, with rarely a surprise headliner you've not seen at every other convention.

Big Wow is more for Art Collectors and Comic Book collectors, and usually pulls in international guests as well as some more elusive talent more rarely seen on the convention circuit.

So, depending if you're a fan of traditional comic books and comic book artists (Big Wow) or if you're a fan of sensory entertainment with celebrities, panels, cosplay, sci-fi and the other areas of geek pop culture (Wizard World), each show has a different appeal.
