I am a big Punisher fan so I was hoping to see what most of you consider The Punisher's most important books to own if you are a Punisher collector.

 

1. ASM 129

2. Punisher Limited Series #1-5

3. ASM 135 (2ns app)

4. GS ASM #4 (3rd app)

5. Daredevil 183 (vs DD)

6. Captain America 241

7. Punisher War Journal 6-7 (vs Wolverine)

8. Punisher Kills the Marvel Universe

9. Deadpool 54-55 (vs Deadpool)

10. ASM 285

 

 

Honorable mention:

 

Punisher WJ #1

Punisher #1 (1987)

Punisher #10 (vs DD)

Daredevil #293 (vs Punisher)

Daredevil #257 (vs Punisher)

Yes, Amazing Spider-Man 161-162 (also featuring early appearance of Nightcrawler and Wolverine) and that is a very nice story. Surely better than any Deadpools or recent loonies "killing the Marvel Universe" (no need for that, besides, as Marvel more or less has already killed it). :baiting:

Yea, but DP #54 is by far one of the best Punisher covers.

I can't remember the numbers, but as far as probably lower print (and I fricking loved them as a kid), how about when Punisher guest-starred in "The Nam?"

What about just story line?

Punisher regular series, the first 10 for my money were, essential reading, for everyone, Punisher fan's or not.

 

Agreed, Mike Baron did an amazing job with these. Required copper age reading for sure. hm
