THREAD MOVED TO MISCELLANEOUS

Up for sale is Jim Warren's "AFTER HOURS" #1 published in 1957. This is Warren's attempt not only at breaking into the publishing business, but his imitation of "Playboy" magazine.

Jim Warren was not Hugh Hefner and the magazine lasted only 4 issues! Warren Publishing went on to make its mark with Famous Monsters of Filmland, Creepy, Eerie, Vampirella, and other comic magazines in the horror genre.

This is a very nice copy of "AFTER HOURS" #1 that is very tight, lays flat, has good color and nice white/off-white pages. The spine is solid and has almost no wear and there is no spine splitting. There is no writing on the cover or inside the magazine. There are no rips, tears, creases, or ads clipped. I would give this copy a VF-/7.5 or slightly better. For a 60 year old magazine it is in great shape.

I'm asking $150 shipped. I will accept Paypal, personal check, or postal money order. The magazine will be in bullet proof packing as if it were being sent to a war zone!

FIRST :takeit: WINS!

THANKS FOR LOOKING!
