Another one for the Force

 

I have seen these listed pretty often but never had one nor seen one for myself... until now. Best part, X-Force #1 Double Cover 9.6. While it's not a coveted 9.8 for the book I do have to say that its uniqueness does give me more reason to want to hold onto it as opposed to others even without the bump up. Additionally the stars must have aligned for me today as I just found out Rob Liefeld would be showing up at the VA Comic Con in a few weeks as well and a facilitator would be able to get this very issue signed and submitted for me through here.

 

Hopefully after a little pressing and a lovely scrawling by Rob I'll be able to bump this up and have the true OAK of the grouping with a double cover 9.8 SS.

Double covers are very hard to get in 9.8, so a 9.6 is very impressive.

SW3D, Yep that's what I heard as well. Hopefully it will either maintain its grade or get the bump up to the big leagues. Was thinking about requesting a remark sketch as well on it for even more Oak'edness.

 

Brandon, Hopefully. I was really excited to see this one come up. Even though I had an X-Force #1 already seeing this one really made me jump.

Either way, a 9.6 is impressive. As perfectionists we forget about how great a grade a 9.6 is.

Awesome pick up! I just scored a single cover still in the polybag for $1 from my LCS.

What Card was in it. I remember the speculation of a polybagged with a certain card was more valuable.
