California Comic book Convention 2014

[font:Times New Roman]The Eighth California Comic Convention ( CalConmicCon ) will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2014.

The show will be held in Orange County in Yorba Linda, held just miles from Disneyland and other attractions.

We will continue to have a raffle that will have CGC graded comics, original artwork and sketches by guest artists.

All paid admissions will receive a raffle ticket, extra ticket can be purchased at the show.

Advance purchases will receive three tickets, with a chance at a special online ticket holder only raffle.

CGC will again be taking comic submissions and doing signature witnessing.

This year the California Comic Convention will continue to place emphasis on vintage comic books.

Dealers from all over the country will be at the show.

The Guests will be Mark Nelson and Tim Truman.

Mark is best known for his work on Aliens, Godzilla and Fantasy illustrations.

Tim is known for work on Grimjack, Dark Horse Conan, Hawken, an Eclipse magazines,

The show will be held from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM; tickets are only $10 and parking is free.

Due to a room addition we now have an extra inside table at the CalComicCon for the first time in many years.

We are looking for a collector who wants to sell their vintage collection or just pair down their existing collection.

Sharing with other collectors to offset table cost is not only allowed but encouraged.

Don't forget that CGC will be their so bring any comics that you want to get CGC graded, they will also be doing witnessing for our guests.

We are pleased to have added Mark Verheiden as a guest writer to the 2014 CalComicCon . He has been the writer of many great comics over the years and will be signing Aliens along with guest artist, Mark Nelson. so dig out your copies of Aliens, Predator, Superman and Actions among other great stories that Mark wrote. Mark has also written stories for TV series: Heroes, Battle Star Galactica and Falling Skies as well as others.

We are 6 days away from CalComicCon , if you have yet to buy an online ticket now is a good time to avoid long lines the day of the show and to get those extra raffle tickets. We will not offer extra raffle tickets for online purchases after Friday the 24th.
