Evil Ernie question

I picked this up in a collection this week and I have no idea what it's worth.....Or maybe it's worthless. I do think it's interesting that MCS doesn't have any copies for sale.

This is just a reprint of Evil Ernie #1 a raw copy goes for about $10-20 bucks ! Don't know what the print run is ? seeing that its from the 90's my guess would be 100.000 I picked up my CGC copy for $30 dollars not to long ago !

The Eternity series Evil Ernie are the only ones with any value.

 

People make mistakes with Evil Ernie all the time. I remember finding the Eternity series 1-5 complete in a 50 cent bin after another dealer went through it. I asked him why he didn't get the Eternity books, and he showed me the same book you posted and told me that he thought it was the first appearance.

'Tis the Halloween season soon, so I thought I'd bump this thread. Back in the day the original 5 Eternity books were the only Chaos! books I never owned - still are! I'm thinking of tracking down a set.

 

Any other CHAOS! fans out there? Anyone reading any of the newer stuff?

My Evil Ernie #1 used to be in about 9.4 condition. I was going through and rebagging some of my comics about 15 years ago. Had it resting on the bed. When I turned away, my dog jumped up on the bed, and sat right on the cover.

 

I still have the issue, and can't part with it.

I just grabbed EE #5 off ebay last night. 1 down, 4 to go! I'm also kinda hunting this old Atlas book with a killer Everett cover that reminds me of EE:

Picked up the Eternity EE #1 for .45 cents unknowing of it's value. Learn something new everyday. Finds like this keep me hunting the cheap bins.
