Time has flown by and this month marks the end of three years of Alimony payments!! To celebrate the event I'm having a huge comic sale along with an appreciation raffle at the end of the sale in a few weeks (around New Years). Everyone who buys $20 worth of books gets their name put into a hat and I'll draw out names to see what everyone wins. Each $20 purchased gets a name in the hat so a $80 purchase will get someone 4 names in the hat. No rounding so $79 will be the same as $61 in terms of names in the hat. Every name pulled will win a comic with the three grand prizes being a NM- copy of Marvel Preview 2, a Hulk 336 CGC 9.8 and a VF+ Bronze Age Doctor Strange 170. I'm anticipating having $200 worth of books in the raffle stack. My way of saying thanks to all the cool Board members that have helped keep me positive over the last 3 years.

 

All usual sales thread rules apply with no HOS members need apply and the first :takeit: in the thread beats out any PM I'll take its or PM offers. I picked up a nice Bronze Age collection and I've also got a large Savage Sword of Conan set to sell so there will be plenty of books available. Shipping will be a uniform $5 for all purchases to keep things easy and all larger bulk purchases will ship out via media mail. I do ship International but the shipping cost will be at cost so let me know and I'll give you a shipping quote.

 

When the raffle happens I'll draw a name for a particular number and then i'll e-mail people with the number they won. I'll add some more books if need be.

So once the three years is up, no more payments??

 

Yep! I still have to pay a pretty big child support payment for 8 years but at least the money to keep my ex-wife living in the lap of luxury is now done!
