X-Factor 5 & 6

Do you guys think $50 for a NM raw copy of X factor #6 is too much?

Only a few months ago, Mycomicshop sold a board member's 9.8 for $350 when it was hinted Apocalypse was going to be in a movie. Now that he is confirmed, don't be surprised if we start seeing an increase again.

Which is the better investment? X-Factor #5 or #6?

6, and "investment" ,

if you mean which one are you going to be able to flip for more money to the next guy, the way to come at it are raw high grade copies of 6. I'd try to find copies in places that arent as dominated by speculation as the online sources. Do a road trip of all your local comic stores and see what you can find. The smaller and less internet/ebay savvy the better.

as for actually viewing it as an "investment", these books are extremely plentiful, only hard to find cheap because other people have already been hoarding them for years. It will likely be forever higher with the greater exposure than pre-speculative period, but movie villains dont historically hold value like franchise characters. Hopefully (cause he is my fav. Marvel villain of all time :whee: ) they use him for lots of movies, and do the whole AoA, etc. But if you REALLY want to invest in it, you'll want to find and pay for a 9.9. Only 2 on the census.... there will be thousands of 9.8s by the time 2016 comes around. 2c
