PGM Punch 12 restored

This book has been restored by Zeman and has just been graded by CGC, but not yet finalized. All I know is that it is a PLOD EP I will post the final scan and grade in a day or so. Whats your guess?

That is a stunning transformation Jd!

I would have given the before grade a 2.0 based on the amount of spine damage adn staining I could see.

It's too bad you don't have back cover scans and larger scans as well of the restored book. It would be very interesting to see the whole book as it has been transformed the way we saw the whole book prior to restoration!

I would give the PLOD EP grade of 9.2 from what I can see! Maybe more, maybe less but it's difficult to tell from the scan provided!

I agree, it will probably get a fake 9.2 to a fake 9.4.

There was nothing missing in terms of artwork, so the color touch/restoration is in fact not too much invasive. A great job!

CGC is extremely harsh on the grading of Resto books now.

 

Personally I think it looks like a 9.0.....

 

BUT I'm going to say they'll grade it 8.0. And I would not be shocked if they gave it a 7.5.

 

How were the interior pages, I think they'll base a big part of the grade on those interior pages.

But JD… did you CGC it because you were planning to sell it?

I am asking just because with this nice restoration now it is a perfectly readable book, without the fear of damaging it, and I would have cherished it "as is"…
