More Fun 67 DC Checking Copy! CLOSED

More Fun 67! This copy is the DC checking copy and is stamped as such on the top of the front cover. What this was used for was to make sure all advertisements were in the correct place and were paid for. On every advertisement in this comic, there are two check marks indicating this. Also because the book needed to be sturdy enough to be paged through numerous times, the publishers put tape on the margins of every page! This tape was completely unnecessary and was only used so the comic would not fall apart from repeated use. There is also tape on the outer edge of the inside covers.

 

Aside from this there is some spine wear, but the cover colors are very bright and sharp. With the tape, I grade it a G/VG 3.0. It should get a blue label but I can't guarantee that. In either case, this is truly a great piece of DC history!
