Both issues I am selling are super rare and hard to find in any grades. I have higher graded copies of both books. I'm not a hoarder, so I would like to give others an opportunity to own one/both of these great books. (thumbs u Buy with confidence and PM me with any questions!

WW #99 CGC 4.0 (Q) White pages - From 1958, second SA appearance of Wonder Woman, with #99 being the first as verified by DC. This is a fine 'qualified' copy had a staple replaced, but is in great condition otherwise. PQ is at the top-notch White Pages. WW is referred to as Diana Prince in this issue. This is the second issue where we have the awesome tandem of Ross Andru & Mike Esposito doing the cover and artwork. Robert Kanigher with the story. Only 15 copies have been graded by CGC thus far. A great PU for any WW fan!

The Black Hole #4 CGC 8.0 OW/W Whitman Variant - This 1980 BA comic is one of the hardest to find (Uncle Scrooge #179 being another) of the highly sought after Whitman variants with ~175 known copies to exist. Currently, there are only 15 copies graded on the CGC census. It was sold & distributed in a multi-pack only. This is a nice high grade copy and has an eye catching cover with the artwork done by Dan Spiegle.

Hi, :)

I'm thinking it's because the Black Hole #4 Whitman comic book was only available in pre-packs within the US & maybe a few other unverified locations.

Also everywhere I have seen it for the most part, it has been referred to as a 'variant'. I only know of one version.

Thanks for the info and link.

Didn't mean to disrupt your sales thread. :foryou: It's just that I have this same issue and it looks the same. Just wondered if there was in fact a variant also. It is a super rare issue for those who aren't familiar and your copy looks terrific! GLWTS!

Btw issues 5 and 6 do exist. Printed outside the U.S. They have been posted on the boards before.

:foryou: Thank you for the link to the "recalled comics" ! I had fun reading the fantasting website and learn a few things. I even sent email with a question about one comic I have here that I suspected is one of printing errors.

Now back to your thread with a... :bump:
