We had a thread like this a few weeks ago. I am not bringing this up in a "search function way" but pointing it out as my goals have literally changed in that time period.

 

1 - I think I want to join the Early Action Comics club (Issue from the 1-24 run)

2 - I would like to own an OA Cover of an Amazing Spider-man issue.

3 - Upgrade by ASM 14 and ASM 50

4 - Still would like FF48 or an Action 41, Superman 14 or Superman 24

4 - Curtail all other spending.

Good goals, you'll probably need to curtail all other spending with those as your focus...especially the ASM covers!

A. Get back into shape that I was in while in the Marines. Took the first step last week and hired a personal trainer.

 

B. Buy a few large silver age collection. ($10K+)

 

C. Take and pass the Florida Bar in July.

 

D. Buy less modern drek.

 

Keep moving in the quality vs quantity direction.

 

Sell enough comics in 2014 to recoup most of the funds I added to the collection in 2013.

 

Take a break from buying for a few months to ramp up the selling.

I am hoping to finish a CGC 9.8 signature series run of Sam Kieth's Marvel Comics Presents. Hopefully, Sam will do another signing this year.

 

Get some more art covers.

 

Fill in some holes on my Wolverine registry run.

In 2013 I picked up quite a few very nicely-presenting books that mean a lot to me, and hopefully 2014 will continue the same way. No specific key items in mind - I prefer uncertainty and surprise.
