FF 52 and ST 123

Beautiful 52 James! (thumbs u Considering how hot this book has gotten, and how black the blacks are, I would definitely slab this one.

 

Personally, I don't think the overhang is an issue - that's how the books were printed, and that's how they should look. :sumo:

 

I'll go along with the 9.0 - 9.2 crowd. :applause:

The ST 123? It is a moderate staple tear, and as you represent is limited to the outside of the cover. There also appears to be a small spine crack just above it. I think the others have nailed it at 7.5, with a slight .5 chance in either direction depending on the severity of the bias of the grader toward staple tears. :grin:

I looked at the photos and stick with my 9.0 and 7.5 grades. On the FF52, look at the very bottom edge of the front cover and the lower right corner. That keeps it at 9.0 IMO.

 

Value add: the last CGC-graded 9.0 FF52 reported on GPA sold for $1,200.
