Question about Galaxy Comic Con in Tampa

A buddy and I have the con bug pretty bad and wanted to go to a con before Mega Con in March. Does anyone have any information about the Galaxy Comic Con in Tampa? We mostly do silver age and a little golden age.

 

We are driving down from Tallahassee and wanted to make sure it was worth the drive.

I am not knocking Galaxy CC but the WW show will have more Silver/Gold age vendors for sure.

We are going to do the Tampa trip in a single day. Not sure that is possible if we do the New Orleans con. Though the New Orleans con might get penciled in for 2015.

Silver age Marvel is my main interest. Also interested in pre code horror and Barks

If you have to choose between New Orleans and Tampa , New Orleans will be far superior in ga/sa offerings IMO based on that guest list

Pensacon is closer to you than both New Orleans and Tampa. It has a better guest list than Tampa also.

My buddy who is making the trip with me has to coach his daughter's soccer team on most Saturdays this limits us to just Sundays. The New Orleans con looks great but I don't think we can do it in a single day.

 

I am waiting for Pensacon to start selling one day passes. We will probably do Pensacon if they sell single day tickets.

I've set up at this promoter's Orlando shows, and have always found it to be a very well run con. I've always found some nice books to purchase. Not to mention, the Tampa Bay Area has a few nice shops to visit, such as our's, Heroes' Haven, Demolition, and more!
