Here's a tough Adams cover in a solid 9.0 with great eye appeal!

drbanner, now that the auction is over, I gotta ask-- Do we think that is really a 100% Neal Adams cover? I mean, the Supergirl figure looks like completely his work, but the four outer-most figures sure don't. Even the other females apart from Supergirl look more like Nick Cardy than Adams.

 

Adams does claim this cover on his web site, but I wonder...

 

Or was he ape-ing the DC House style for the peripheral cover characters in order to make a point?

According to the official Nick Cardy website, Neal Adams drew Supergirl but the rest is by Nick Cardy!

Sweet! I think I've visited that site before (I remember reading the interview), but they've populated a lot more cover scans since the last time I was there!
