I assume the back cover is just dirt and not a water stain correct?

yes, it is just dirt, no water stain.

 

yea, that BFC is hurting it a bit. I'm afraid pressing at this point would cause it to chip or break due to all the bold colors.

The rest of the cover is far to clean to pull it down to a 7-7.5

 

I have graded 5-6 of these in the past year and have had 8s with issues like that and still not look as nice as that one presents.

Thats a lovely book, I would say 8.0 minimum.

Come on guys its better than 7.0, I thought that was harsh.
