Removing scratches from a CGC case

I had some slabs arrive recently that had some scratches on them. I also had some older ones that had a few. So before I did anything as far as reholdering or raising a stink, I thought I'd try this on them.

 

The results were really good. I should have taken some before and after pics and may I will if I come across another one. It took a bit of elbow grease but the cases look like new. Just passing on some info.

I always rub a small amount of wax to a new slab and then buff to a high gloss finish.

Meguiar's ScratchX and PlastX work well too.

 

I've used the Meguiar's also on old car lenses including my Chevelle. It worked good but I think it took a bit more rubbing than the Harley product. I could have been drinking that day so its not real clear.
