I like Partridge's POWERS CD! 'Spacey' music inspired by Powers' covers. The closest comparison is to 1950's Sci-Fi Movie soundtracks-the ones with theremins. Check it out!

In today.  A bit obscure, it's an essay on reading that takes the form of a discussion between Travis McGee and Meyer.  Which makes it the last Travis McGee story, although with an important caveat.  The first version was from the Library of Congress, as I understand, and this is a Book Club edition.  Just a hair wider than a normal paperback.

Women's Barracks by Tereska Torres. Gold Medal 132, PBO 1950. Cover art by Barye Phillips.

Broke the mold for PBO bestsellers, as well as lesbian fiction in the mainstream. Barye Phillips' incredibly delicious cover art might have been the veneer that lent a hand to all that :drool:

believe me I've been buying some honeys at bargain prices so can share: after Surf praised Savage Night went to ebay: nice copy 7 hrs left $99 open no bids so got, how about this 'minty' Ace dub for $20 delivered, paid $10 each for 2 killer St J's that are beyond cool, etc...
