There wasn't much I was interested in this month.I was bidding on the AF15 1.8,but I just couldn't keep going on it. I would have loved to get the Batman 121,and a few of the other low grade keys, but I think I am just not willing to spend that much money these days.I did end up with this one book so far.

That 3.5 presents better than almost any other 3.5 of any book I have ever seen. Nice pickup.

I was thinking about bidding on this, but passed to chase other books. Congrats

Low bidder on all, was under bidder on a few, but getting too rich for my blood.

Used to find some deals on Clink in my experience, now it seems like every books is consistently above GPA or right at it. Maybe my buying has changed and I am going after better books? Would like to hear others perspectives on this.

What I don't understand, Is when the GPA is not right and a book still goes for higher because of the bad GPA price, with-out the buyer realizing the GPA is off.

Oct-31-2013 $6,000 Cert# 1013552007

Oct-17-2013 $7,500 Cert# 1127163007

Jul-23-2013 $3,650 Cert# 1127163007

May-15-2013 $4,100 Cert# 1132193004

Apr-19-2013 $4,161 Cert# 1127163007

Feb-17-2013 $4,061 Cert# 1127163007

Notice how many times the 3007 was sold in 2013. If i remember correctly 1 or 2 of these sales were suspected as shilled. It just is not accurate. The Book just went for $5700.00. I think that price is higher than the real GPA: $3500-$4000 range .

There are multiple examples of bad prices on the GPA (sales that never happened) If you don't know Them, you could end up buying a book at a inflated price. It also sets of a chain of inflated prices . Like tonight's sale , It was a legit sale and now the going price for that book.

And yes I am whining a little i would have been a buyer at 4200.00 and I think that's A high Price for a 1991 book.

Does anyone else have examples of inflated GPA?

the sale won't show up in GPA so only the buyer, his priest and his therapist will know what he spent

I seriously toyed with the Submariner 8 for $500. It only went for $25 more than that very book sold for about a year and a half ago with only a few of those even made available at market over the last few years. For whomever picked that book up... that was a pretty cool Submariner Timely cover to add to your collection.

Just not in my collecting focus right now...
