X-men 28 for grade and cgc worthiness...

I would like some opinions on what grade this x-men 28 (mid range grade potential) could get and if it would worth grading before selling. Thanks!

I would guess this getting somewhere between a VG/F (5.0) and a F (6.0). The water stain on the back cover will bring it down below Fine I would think, but not sure how much.

I'd guesstimate a 5.0 or so, and would agree that getting it slabbed would be about as appropriate and rewarding as re-electing George W. Bush.

4.0 - 5.5 depending on how many pages (if any) are effected by the stain. Can the stain be seen on the inside of the cover? Are the pages effected? It's hard to give a very specific grade on this book with just front and back cover scans. It's safe to say that it's got "issues" though.

The stain mark does go through to the other side but does NOT affect any of the pages whatsoever. The book lies very flat (no waviness or warping)

 

I tend to agree with the 5.0 - 5.5 range (since I'm viewing the book first hand)

As others have said, its a mid grade book at best and is not worth getting slabbed. Save your grading fees.
