can be a tough book in high grade .. that black cover is unforgiving

sold two cgc 9.8 ss #1's this week. Whats going on with this book?

I was pretty disappointed with it - I really wanted it to be better than I felt the first few issues were.

 

I'll definitely revisit and reevaluate, but I felt it was depressingly average.

yeah, just hit the post show announcement lull...I blame spider gwen for every comic that isn't as hot as it should be.

I've been stealing Image books thanks to Gwen. I like Spider-Gwen books quite a bit but she isn't replacing any Image book for me.

I only gave it three issues - I usually give books at least one full story arc... I just didn't here.

 

I'll try it again after a few trades are out... but... honestly, it felt mailed in to me. And I also made the mistake of reading the back matter in the first issue and it sort of ruined it for me even more. I couldn't lose myself in the book after reading that garbage where Kirkman tried to sell me on demonic possession as a 'thing.'

Double sig 9.8 sold for $250 on 2/13 which isn't too shabby.
