Wonder what the print run on the Alex Ross 1:300 will be.

they tend to be around 1K off of 300K, historically speaking for similarly large books in recent years. I generally think of the 1:300s as 1K print run books until proven otherwise.

Superman Unchained did more than 250,000. I would expect at least that as this is THE Spider-man title.

I wonder how many stores will take the chance on upping the orders high enough to get the variants if they are under the thresholds. That FUGLY Ramos cover hurts the book big time. Does he get paid % of each book sold? If yes, that has to be the most lucrative 5 minute cover he has ever drawn........

I think a lot will risk it this time due to the success of ASM 700.

The ASM collectors will come out in drones for this book. It will sell thru and go to additional printings, but I cant see it holding its value overtime. Look at ASM V2 1 and say what a $5-10 book in a few months?

I often wonder which collector is nuttiest the ASM completist or the X-men completist. Either way Marvel been bilking them for years.

That'll teach Marvel to reboot books over and over again. :sumo:

Hehe

I was wondering if I would regret dropping Marvel. lol

Superman Unchained #1 regular cover was selling for under $1 each in bundles of 10, 25, 50, and 100. What do you think these will bring ?

Hey sorry of this was brought up. But is this a re-telling of ASM or picking up after SS #30?

I have all the SS but I haven't read them yet. I read a couple and was interested, I like the art too. I like it pretty sick.

Anyways yea, so re-telling? It looks like it from the pictures.
