Hey guys picked this bad boy for 25 bucks so i was wondering what do you guys think the grade is? Only defect is the spine is a brown color and a few niks and a bend at the bottom right corner.

Any chance of some scans, rather than these under-lit photos?

Pretty hard to grade it at present.

 

However, the brown stain down the side looks like residue of old scotch tape which has fallen off after many years of doing . . . whatever.

 

Are there tears at the open edge of the front cover? I think I see at least one maybe two.

 

There appear to be vertical creases close to the spine, symptomatic of the cover being folded back.

 

I can't see it being higher than a 4.0.

 

But that's not a grade, that's a guess. Defects are cumulative.

Scans would definitely be better. Can you tell if the browning of the spine is from tape residue or is it a dust shadow?

I'm leaning towards a 4.5 IMHO! (At least until we get some larger high res scans)
