Why not?

 

Raze was my second thought after the Sentinels. He was potentially a killer when we all thought Logan was biting it last year. Somewhere around Wolverine #12 or #13 from the 1st Marvel now series. I quit reading Marvel shortly after thT so I don't know if he has done anything since. I believe his first cover was Uncanny X-men from Marvel Now.

The death won't matter. The character might. Marvel desperately needs new blood to stay relevant imo.
