I thought I was the only one...

I looked at all the Son of Satan, Defenders w/ Dr. Strange and SOS, Ghost Riders, DC horror, a smattering of marvel '60s horror, Dell and Gold Key painted covers... many of them came close except for the moons.

 

I finally said "how could there possibly be FOUR moons? Then, bingo.

I thought I was the only one...

I looked at all the Son of Satan, Defenders w/ Dr. Strange and SOS, Ghost Riders, DC horror, a smattering of marvel '60s horror, Dell and Gold Key painted covers... many of them came close except for the moons.

 

I finally said "how could there possibly be FOUR moons? Then, bingo.

 

Similar path; even thinking about moondragon and moon-knight appearances, but for whatever reason, I was thinking, moon-knight title was too easy... and didn't look carefully (esp. at the pentagram even though later I was deeply looking for voodoo dolls outside of MN). You know it's bad when you spend hours pouring through moderns with 50 freakin titles a month.
