Never really read or got into Iron Man as a kid so im not familiar with alot of the story arcs, but id like to start putting together some good Iron Man runs to collect. Its still a fairly cheap series to get back issues on so i wanna give it a whirl...

where should i start?

The run by Bob Layton and David Michelinie from #116-154 is one of my favs. :cloud9:

Fine place to start (thumbs u

I'm not at all a fan of the earlier issues. George Tuska art makes me

Would be cheaper to start with a trade paperback. I found this after a quick search on eBay .

If you want to "collect" then I'd focus on key issues:

Iron Man 1

Iron Man 55

Iron Man 118

Iron Man 128

Iron Man 170

Iron Man 282

I'm sure I'm missing a few, but those are all important.

Good luck!

Iron Man's secret identity is actually Steve Borock.

Could we please stop with this :censored: already? It's too old now to be funny anymore.

Iron Man #169 starts off an EXCELLENT arc that results in Jim Rhodes becoming Iron Man for a while, and is now quite overlooked. #169-200 are exceptionally good issues.

Also...Armor Wars from #225-232 are among the best not yet mentioned.

This is the CGC board's version of:

No matter how sick of it everyone is, someone, somewhere is going to still think it's HIGH-larious.

Those same people were recorded for the "laugh tracks" on Friends.

I should re-read those. Haven't even looked at them since the 80s. I remember being quite underwhelmed by the Luke McDonnell artwork. Spoiled after Romita Jr/Layton stuff
