DC to announce new solo movies plan at Comicon

50 posts in this topic

I love the idea of all of these solo movies but the Shazam movie is really getting me excited. Does anyone else remember the Shazam Saturday morning live action TV show. I think it was a Kroft production? To me that show was ahead of its time and better than the spidey and captain america tv shows produced much later.

ISIS :cloud9:

I loved those shows as a kid.

Oh yeah. That Captain Marvel series along with the Origin story to Whiz 1 are indelibly etched into my mind.

The best move DC can make is to give Ben Affleck the role of Batman.

Then they should give him total creative control over the DCMU.

After that they should make him head of Warner Bros.

The only thing that could ice that cake would be Matt Damon as Robin.

What happened to Justin Bieber as the Boy Blunder.

i think they can if they sit down and plan how the story is going to plan out across the films.

Don't Count Martian Manhunter Out Of The Justice League

Which lead many to piece this together with existing news about Batman V Superman and guess that our cinematic Justice League lineup would look like this:

Batman

Superman

Wonder Woman

Flash

Cyborg

Green Lantern

Aquaman

How can their be a Justice League without MM?

Super ambitious schedule but Marvel has proven it is possible. They just need to develop a sound strategy and interconnecting storyline and stick to it. Very exciting times for a fanboy.

Ok, I'm calling it now and going to say that DC/Warner Bros. is going to bring about the death of the comic book movie. That is a lot of movies planned in a short amount of time....seems very rushed. I think we are in danger of boring the general public with an inane amount of superhero films. I hope I'm wrong, but I feel the end is in sight.

Plus if we add all the Star Wars and Marvel movies do during the same time period we are going to see if your statement comes true.

It should be quite interesting at the Box Office.
